Updates and rollback

Relay Console checks a signed Sparkle feed and lets you choose when to install an app update.

Install an update

  1. Read the release notes and known issues.
  2. Export local data that you want to keep.
  3. Choose Check for Updates in Relay Console.
  4. Review the signed release and approve installation.

Release security

Each release uses Developer ID signing, Apple notarization, and an EdDSA-signed appcast. Updates change only the Relay Console app.

Rollback

The previous supported notarized DMG and checksum remain available for at least 30 days unless a security or data-format issue makes rollback unsafe.
