Release and telemetry services
- Website host: serves product and policy pages.
- PostHog EU: processes website analytics, anonymous aggregate macOS usage statistics for eligible region settings unless the user objects, and optional detailed macOS product analytics after opt-in. Anonymous app events use a new identifier for every event and create no person profile. Data is limited to allowlisted interactions, coarse timing and counts, and app, browser, operating-system, locale, region, and device facts.
- Sentry: processes optional macOS crash, hang, exception, sampled manual performance, release, device, and safe application-state diagnostics only after crash-reporting consent. The selected Sentry project region and retention are recorded in the production telemetry runbook.
- GitHub Releases: stores signed release files.
- GitHub Pages: serves the signed Sparkle appcast.
- Apple: validates Developer ID signatures and notarization.
PostHog and Sentry do not receive Relay Console messages, prompts, credentials, provider payloads, raw customer identifiers, user-selected URLs or paths, screenshots, view hierarchies, or session recordings from the macOS telemetry integration. Access is restricted to approved operators. Deletion requests can be sent to hello@relayconsole.work.
